How the voice coach works

• This is an AI-generated voice, not a doctor or human coach.
• When you select start, your browser asks for microphone permission and then connects directly to OpenAI for the live conversation; your microphone audio does not pass through Healthspan servers.
• The Healthspan server only issues a short-lived session key and answers the coach's read-only book, website and product lookups.
• Sessions end automatically after 15 minutes. You can start another when you need it.
• The page does not show or save a transcript, answers or audio in local storage, and sets no voice-coach cookie.
• Audio-level readings used for the orb animation are computed in your browser and discarded immediately.
• By default, OpenAI Realtime abuse-monitoring logs may retain customer content for up to 30 days. API data is not used to train OpenAI models unless the API customer explicitly opts in.

No account is requested here. The browser sends live microphone audio to OpenAI only after you press start and grant microphone permission. The coach page does not create a visible transcript, store your conversation in local storage, or add your health conversation to the site chat. Avoid saying names, addresses, account details or other identifying information that your question does not require.
