Stress reset library

Choose a brief, low-demand reset. These practices do not solve unsafe circumstances or replace urgent or professional help.

Use it thoughtfully

Orient to the room

Slowly name five neutral things you can see, feel both feet or the chair, and notice one sound. Keep eyes open if that feels safer.

Longer, comfortable out-breath

Let breathing stay gentle. If comfortable, make the out-breath slightly longer for several breaths. Stop if dizzy or distressed.

One practical reduction

Ask: what can be delayed, made smaller, delegated or done with someone?

Reach out

Write one person or service, what you want them to know, and the simplest way to make contact.

Your worksheet

One reader-selected practice and a written support contact plan.

Save is optional and writes only to this browser's local storage. Nothing is submitted to Healthspan. On a shared device, another visitor could choose to load that copy.

If you cannot stay safe, use emergency help rather than another exercise.
